Linda Castillo

Executive Director

As the Executive Director, I oversee the nonprofit’s day-to-day operations and guide the organization towards fulfilling its mission and vision. In addition, handles fundraising, marketing, and community outreach efforts. Reports to and collaborates closely with the Board of Directors. I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology from San Jose State. With over 21 years of experience as a social worker for Family and Children Services, I have extensive knowledge, training and experiences as a Child Welfare Social Worker. Prior to Family and Children Services, I was employed as a supervisor/caseworker at the Boys Ranch in Monterey County. My experience extends to Friends Outside/Turning Point as a Community Correction Worker and Federal Case Work, supervising State and Federal inmates. I served as a Psychiatric Social Worker at Monterey County Behavioral Health, stationed at the Monterey County Jail, and later employed at the California Forensic Medical Group, where I worked as a Psychiatric Social Worker at the jail.

Celina Castillo

Youth Director

With a strong personal and professional background in child welfare, including foster youth who have aged out of the system. I am dedicated to serving families in need of support services throughout our community. I hold a bachelor’s degree in sociology from San Jose State University, where my studies deepened my understanding of social dynamics and inequalities. Currently, I bring my expertise to Hartnell College as a program specialist, focusing on supporting dual enrollment initiatives. I am deeply passionate about contributing to this organization that strives to prevent juveniles from entering the prison system.
